Mega Latias is back to raids in Pokemon Go and we get the chance to raid it during raid hour on the first day of it being back. Despite the bad weather, a group of trainers in Stockton decided to raid in the campus in the University of the Pacific to try to get themselves the shiny and hundo Latias too. Great vid of the community gathering together to play raid hour. This may be an unpopular opinion. With normal players having trouble getting enough strong lobbies for the mega latias and latios raids, why not having regular legendary raids of latias and latios during regular times and then the mega legendary forms be available for raid hour and/or special time at noon. It gives players a chance to raid for shinies or high stats, but keeps the mega energy special and easier to get when communities come together for raid hour. It wouldn't be that different from the upcoming 5-star raids where the special moves are available during raid hour only. Food for thought.
