I’m keeping track of all of my LG13 clears in this doc: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mlHeeEq7MmYuSaReWYXIOwdTkq7tZXCBd2PL5dIx4zI/edit

This is one of the easier rotations we’ve had, so there’s a lot of room for eggmon duos. Latios in particular is notoriously known as the easiest LA, which is why it has the most clears in this video. On the other hand, most if not all of the eggmon duos I’m doing on Azelf are just flinch or sleep clears, so I just included the one that I couldn’t not show due to who the flincher is hahaha.

Here’s how each battle went and the sync grids used:

Vs. Azelf: EX Hugh / Tech Rattata – https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=002040&s0=1&l0=150&r0=4&p0=0&a0=21010101&t0=44&n0=3&f0=20&v1=014700062600&s1=5&l1=150&r1=6&p1=0&a1=18040502&t1=44444&g1=AAECAwQGCREUFxgaGx8hJS4v&v2=0

I’ve used this duo before against Registeel, and with Azelf also being vulnerable to flinches and defense debuffs, it’s just as effective here. Rattata keeps gauge up for Hugh so he can continue flinching, and thanks to Recuperation 2, Hugh can tank well enough to see the clear through. I have Fast-Track on Hugh for his solos, but I think he can afford another LS here for either higher damage or survivability.

Vs. Latios: EX Fall Hilbert / Support Porygon – https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=013720&s0=1&l0=150&r0=5&p0=0&a0=17041601&t0=44&n0=3&f0=20&v1=002040026200&s1=3&l1=140&r1=6&p1=0&a1=13010602&t1=4444&g1=AAECAwQFBgkKDQ4PHB0gIyQl&v2=0

Since Latios has the convenient combination of having weak attacks and a slow gauge, many units can get away with a clear with minimal or even no sustain. Porygon only has Healthy Healing here while Hilbert has First Aid, though of course they’re both helped by the former’s Sp Def buffs.

Vs. Cobalion: EX Hilda / Tech NidoranF – https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=003140&s0=1&l0=150&r0=5&p0=0&a0=21010101&t0=44&n0=3&f0=20&v1=000400050000&s1=5&l1=140&r1=6&p1=0&a1=21010101&t1=44444&g1=AAECAwQFBhEeISMkJyotMDEyMw&v2=0

Got help from Elek’ in testing this. I funneled almost all of my Attack debuffers to Cobalion since they’re very potent there – even more than Defense buffs in some cases as Sacred Sword ignores those. Hilda acts as both the damage-dealer and the tank here, with her potions and Nidoran’s Venom Drench letting her take a lot of hits. Venom Drench also debuffs Cobalion’s speed, which is particularly helpful in Bar 1 where its already pretty slow.

Vs. Latios: EX Anniversary May / Tech Espeon – https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=019640&s0=1&l0=150&r0=5&p0=0&a0=18046402&t0=44&n0=1&f0=0&v1=012602038000&s1=1&l1=150&r1=6&p1=0&a1=18046402&t1=44444&g1=AAECAwQFBgcICQoMERITFRobHB0jJCUmJyg&v2=0

Anni May can solo this at higher move levels, but she doesn’t have much to work with at 1/5, so I added in Tech Espeon for the additional Psychic Terrain. Espeon also did more damage than I thought it would, and thanks to the Sp Atk debuffs it’s able to tank a majority of the stage.

Vs. Cobalion: EX Anniversary Raihan / Support Dratini – https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=014920&s0=1&l0=150&r0=5&p0=0&a0=20010101&t0=44&n0=3&f0=20&v1=025701033000&s1=4&l1=150&r1=6&p1=0&a1=21010101&t1=44444&g1=AAECAwQFCBMWGCMlJicqLjQ&v2=0

Another popular duo that I’ve used in a lot of other stages, with Dratini completing Anni Raihan’s buffs and providing paralysis to help against many LAs. This is the first time I’ve used them against Cobalion though, and it’s very dependent on consistent flinches since Cobalion hits hard even with the Attack debuffs. Shame that the max move at the end wasn’t able to one-shot.

Vs. Latios: EX Wallace / Support Horsea – https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=011720&s0=1&l0=150&r0=5&p0=0&a0=18046402&t0=44&n0=3&f0=20&v1=012700035000&s1=5&l1=140&r1=6&p1=0&a1=21010101&t1=44444&g1=AAECAwQFFRYZGxwfICEjJScuLw&v2=0

Same idea as the Hugh duo above with Wallace tanking thanks to Recuperation and Horsea helping with his gauge. The Dragon Breath paralysis was annoying but it thankfully wasn’t enough to prevent the clear.
