If I wanted to touch some N64 grass I’d play Ocirana

  2. kaminari1

Maybe get Game Freak to fix the game first.

Out of all the games to promote this way… why on earth would they choose the one with some of THE worst graphics 😭

Touched grass. Grass got mad at me and now I’m poisoned. Thanks Nintendo!

This game was fun, but they should be ashamed of how it looks at performs

  6. Maybe it’s time for game freak to do so in our stead because they are so fucking out of touch

Between this and the “this post contains edgy content” post on Instagram, Nintendo America is leaning into the internet jokes as of late. 😆

I’ve not played these games, why are the moving around as Pokemon? Is a main part of gameplay or a minigame?

  9. i bought violet, but i just can’t seem to finish this game. doesn’t give me the excitement.

The fact that Xenoblade 3 exists on the Switch makes this look all the worse. No thanks, Gamefreak.

“Mr. Ketchum. Did you not, in fact, tell your opponent to ‘touch grass’?”

“Well, sure, Officer Jenny, but I don’t see-”

“Thank you. Now – Mr. Saur. Can you please point to the Poke Doll, and show the court where Mr. Oak touched you?”

    “Bul…. bulba…”

    *audible gasps*

  12. bro why does it have the same vibes as an early access steam game trailer lmao

Unpopular opinion: touching grass is over rated. It’s itchy and full of bugs.

Mofo’s are walking through the grass and there is no collision. Bruh

Tbh, I just played through Scarlet and y’all have been overblowing the issues a lot. Yes, it’s not optimized. Still easily the best pokemon game yet in terms of narrative and design. The open world shit has *really* nailed the feeling of being a trainer in the pokemon world, and it leads into an endgame state that supports competitive play in a way that shows GameFreak is aware of the adults playing the game.

Not perfect, by any means. But there’s this huge bandwagon saying pokemon games are worthless and that’s not really a good representation of what is actually wrong with them. It always comes across weird, picking these games apart because of subpar graphics, when no one is coming to the Nintendo Switch party because graphics are what they want.
