Cotabby is inspired by the “Cat in the Cradle” a Dutch folktale from the town of Kinderdijk that describes an infant caught in the raging waters of one of the worst floods in the history of the nation – left afloat only by a cradle and unrelenting efforts of the cat perched upon it, jumping back and forth it drained the water rushing into it and kept it afloat.
