From someone who played these when they originally released to anyone diving in for the first time now, here’s two minor item-based spoilers in TR3 specifically that might save you some grief:
>!The shotgun is actually right next to where you start in the first jungle level. Walk back and around the dias where you start and jump across into a little corner on the slidy bit.!<
>!Nevada features a full inventory wipe. Do it first, once you’re out of the jungle, to lose as little as possible.!<
And more generally:
Most enemies are bullet sponges. You are expected to leap around doing flips and shooting while the auto targeting hits the enemies, in order to avoid damage.
Hopefully it’s better explained in this one, than in the original where it was just in the manual, but your ATV has a handbrake. When combined with the accelerator it lets you boost off at high speed. It’s needed for a certain obstacle in the second level.
Do the Lara’s Home missions. While the one in 1 is fairly scarce, the one in 3 has a ton of secrets and a really cool surprise if you manage to finish it.
For some reason doing the dive head first onto concrete used to amuse me
Never played any tomb raider game, but it looks like something I’d enjoy. Either I wait for a bigger sale or just get it right away
Can’t wait to lock that farting old butler in the walk-in freezer
