10 Scariest Horror Games On Nintendo Switch, Ranked

Just Another ScreenRant fool. Does this company have any credibility left in reviews?

Firstly he is ‘surprised’ there’s so many horror games on Switch, sounds to me like barely out of puberty reviewer to me who doesn’t seem to realise or hasn’t learnt to stay afloat Nintendo have had to be diverse and creative, some of their defining characteristics. Not to mention they’ve been releasing horror movie spin off games since the early 90’s.

Secondly he included games like Limbo, Mad Father, Detention, Little Nightmares. Granted horror is a matter of perspective and whilst these games add a matter of hauntingly beautiful elements leaving out games like Oxide Room 104, Layers of Fear, Outlast 2 and RE4 is the real horror. The aforementioned one’s are at most fun with a horror-esque atmosphere whereas the latter are pure horror.

The inclusion of Deadwood on this list saves it somewhat in my mind. Game is scary as fuck.

ScreenRant is a content farm site, what do you expect?

  3. Harrel5on

Resident Evil remake that they selected is more horror than the action/horror of RE4. Clicked expecting not to see Alien Isolation, but it was there. It’s an okay list.

Seems like such a weird thing to get this upset about. Just don’t engage with that site. No reason to make a Reddit post about it.

  5. GamingSophisticate

You… You know sharing content only encourages them, right?

  6. “Man I’m so upset, I can’t stand this website! I know what I’ll do: I’ll go on reddit and share the article with millions of people, that’ll show ‘em!” – OP, probably

  7. What’s really scary is the omission of Signalis

Well, now I have to read this list if it was so egregious you felt the need to post about it.

Why didn’t you post your own ranking then or something, make this post have a point besides bitching into the void?

Probably figured crapping on ScreenRant = karma since Reddit (and a significant portion of the internet) has a hate boner for that site.

? Just block them? The fact that you’re clicking their articles when you hate their content shows their strategy is working lol.

Just clicked on the article in spite of this post, save it for your wife

This is a good summary. I had never heard of Darkwood! It’s going on the list!

I also like that the games are a bit more indie and “whimsical” than big-budget horror games; fits the Switch.

Personally I’d rather see a list with these games as opposed to the ones you suggested. I’m not knocking them but I think this list shows a bit more creativity and design beyond a list of walking simulators with jump scares.

Your life must be boring as shit if you’re getting triggered by a random gaming article talking about subjective preferences for games… Lol
