[Pokemon Masters EX] #SPLgumChallenge8 – Day 4 “Riley’s big debut!” (5600 points)

Day 4 of SPLgumChallenge8 marks the debut of the newest roles as possible bonus role with today being Sprint (i don’t know what SPLgum gonna do for the problematic Field tomorrow), with only 3 Sprint PokéFairs in the free ticket scout pool at abysmal rates (Nemona, Paulo, Rei), the only feasible option is Riley for being able to score at all as permitted within the rules albeit with a hefty point penalty, as for the pulls themselves the question becomes which sync pairs can complement Riley?

Fortunately we’re once again able to cheese it with Fueboo- i mean Ramos, and we got the meaty muscles of Noland to carry along with the newly added Riley the offense with a serviceable nuke.

Despite not being the star of this battle (that honor of course goes to Ramos), i was pleasantly surprised by Riley’s damage off-type, being able to keep up with Noland’s regular on-type DPS, also i was sweating balls when late in the battle i misclicked Iron Tail instead of Close Combat, that almost costed me the run but it was a cool finisher against Sidney.

EDIT: After consulting with SPLgum, it appears i misunderstood the rules a bit, it’s minimum x1 multiplier for one bonus role OR LESS, and also Day 5 bonus remains unchanged.
