I’m playing Pokemon Masters, a mobile gacha game set on the island of Pasio. Collect many Pokemon waifus and husbandos and participate in unique battles involving sync pairs.
When you have done so many Champion Stadium runs, everything starts to become a blur. I constantly forget to allow flinching for my rock weakness team, which always makes a big difference. I also forgot to allow zones for my psychic weakness team, but it doesn’t matter because Caitlin is actually the best psychic striker.
This week released some huge features. One of them is the double Lucky Skill. I could have taken advantage of this feature this week, as my Sygna Suit Steven with Deoxy has Vigilance. It would be perfect to put Critical Strike 2 on him. Champion Iris could also benefit from Critical Strike 2 as well, in which case I could use her for dragon weakness. Lots of characters can play a support role and a striker role, so being able to choose from two Lucky Skills is a great quality-of-life feature.
The other major gameplay feature is the Sync Grid energy expansion. This is a game breaking feature that I really want to deep dive. Unfortunately, I have been very busy, so I can’t really talk about this feature. I’d love to be able to live stream myself going though all my sync pairs and reworking their sync grids. I probably won’t be able to stream though, so I’ll keep thinking how I want to approach this new feature. This video was recorded without any of the new sync grid expansion stuff.
Final thought: Riley seems cool! I said I’d use him in my Diantha/Cynthia team and he is alright. The only problem is that my Diantha can’t fully buff special attack, and Riley is a physical attacker, which conflicts with Diantha’s special attacks. I just got Rei, so maybe I can make a new fighting team…
Final final thought: No, I haven’t found that USB-C to lightning cable yet. But I have an extra cable that I didn’t use to record this video because I forgor. Oops. Enjoy the poorer quality for one more video.
Thanks for watching!
