  1. I am collecting my collector’s edition tomorrow.

The culmination of my existence has been for this moment. I shall ascend.

My backlog is pretty long but this game looks really, really tempting.

I told myself I wasn’t gonna buy any games this year. But boy do I want Unicorn Overlord so badly.

I really really really wanna pick this up…. after beating P3 I moved onto 16… then bought Granblue Fantasy Relink and then Rebirth without beating Remake…. I have a lot of catching up to do 🙃. Once I beat 16, I’ll move to granblue, finish remake and finally start rebirth…. Adult gaming sucks holy shit.

Demo was absolutely amazing and I will definitely be purchasing it eventually. It just picked a really bad time because I’m only like 50% through rebirth (and I’ve put 40 hours in a week!!), so no buying anything else until I complete that.

What is the difference between the PS and Switch versions. Resolution? Framerate?

In my opinion a fantasy game with the Vanillaware art style is amazing

Can’t wait for this. Vanillaware always makes bangers. Have the CE preordered and arriving tomorrow.

I have a few RPGs I still need to finish before i can buy a new one but i am interested in this. Probably get it later when it goes on sale.

I just finished 13 sentinels, my 1st vanillaware game and replayed tf out of destruction and analysis. Cant expresd my love for that game. Now, I have a queue of switch games and next one on the list is star ocean 2 and persona 3 (ps5). Should I start playing star ocean or rest and wait for UO? What would you guys do?

I’ve been meaning to try the demo, can anyone tell me how text heavy the game is. I love tactical rpgs but recently I feel like the dialog to combat ratio is unbalanced. Don’t get me wrong i like good stories but when half or more of the experience is dialog and party relationships i kinda lose interest.

I’ve played about 15 hours of this game.

The visual representation is definitely a 9/10 and the music really does elevate the experience.

After 7ish hours of play time all the combats became me streamrolling through them. On the combat map you look which of your parties does most dmg to which enemy party and use that one. That’s _literally_ all the tactical gameplay there is to this game. No need to delve into tactics/ skill priorities at all.

Also way too many characters to get emotionally invested in the non-main story at all. At least for me. Most of the characters do not experience any growth. They feel kinda plastered on top of the main story line.

I started the game on 2nd hardest mode but should’ve probably tried the hardest difficulty.

Also grinding: Shit ton of grinding stuff on the overworld map if you want to do all the deliveries to cities. jfc.

Definitely not a 9/10 game, imo. Would give it a solid 7/ 10 though. If you’re into tactical rpgs I’d say you’ll probably enjoy this one.

    edit: typos

This game seemed kinda clunky compared to advanced wars, for example. Does anyone know if there is a way to adjust the settings or maybe I’m just crazy?

After playing the demo I forgot to even check for reviews of this game. Demo was great, ogre battle 64 is one of my favorites… instabuy.

  15. Been eyeballing this a bit, heard it’s like March of the black queen. Do you get to play as monsters in the game? Or all human heroes?
