It’s good for the game. I’m very excited and can’t freaking wait for it. My kids are asking me when it’s getting released and they’re even counting days until it finally gets released. All I want is a nice family experience and this game seems to be giving what I want.

From what I saw on the Nintendo Japan youtube page, it looks like there will be mini games included which can be challenging. If any one is interested, the Japanese duo, Yoiko, are playing the game and it looks fun. The ninja one is especially funny seeing how Peach stealthily goes about the level.

So, one 9 and three 8s out of 10, for a total of 33 out of 40. It sounds way worse out of context. They do the thing that GamePro used to do, where they have multiple people review it, and give it an average score from all four reviewers. 9s and 8s out of 10 are not that bad.

Famitsu’s grading system sucks. 33/40 looks decent on paper. But they give out so many high scores that even a 37/40 is sus to me.

Where is this notion coming from that Famitsu gives every game a 9 or something. Only 30 games since 1986 have received perfect 40 and 53 have received 39. A game like this getting 8 across the board is expected, I don’t why would anyone believe this would get 9s pr 10s across the board

The demo plays really poorly on my switch OLED, it’s laggy at times where it should not at all lag, and even the loading screens are choppy. I was hoping it’d be a good game but it seems to be not too great. I get that “oh it’s for kids” but so many games for kids are still fun to play as someone older, but it is what it is
