Glad that Empolean fairs a little better in UL bc I don't have a build for GL & I saw it frequently.
I was using a team that just built on my own (I’m proud of this because I suck at building teams 😂) and the team was giratina on the lead, then virizion and empoleon. Most the time you will just stay in the lead with giratina even if you lose the matchup
Curious your thoughts on using Tentacool/G Weezing as a combo instead of Poliwhirl? G Weez is one of my favorite Pokémon to use in UL.

Forgot the classic Deoxys Guzzlord Greedent. Literally impossible for me to go on a negative set with this team. I think PurpleKyogre came up with this one.

Same old sh*t. Until they do the right thing and make it so registeel, giratina, and cres are no longer viable, niantic is a joke. Few, if any, players can run any of these teams because it requires good IVs on mon you have to trade for or luck out in the case of shadow mon.
This teams are very outside the box thinking!? Hmmm they might work… Dan likes his shadows! Lol
I caught a pretty good shadow Raikou I’d like to try out. Wondering if it has play on the lead similar to zapados? Not gonna cover the fighters but has shadow ball for cress n giratina.
I spent half a million dust building up my team but I think it was worth it. Cresselia, poliwrath, and guzzlord. As long as I don’t see double fairy I do well.

One of the UL training analysis teams caught my eye- Sh. Alo. Muk, Gira Tina, poliwrath. Been enjoying the Muk gameplay a lot but I’m not great at optimal timing and such. Think there’s hope for a team with a lowly ranked Muk on it?
I love this. I don't know what Giratina beats, but I don't have any of them. My team loses to a few things, but seeing Giratina is like getting a Bye.
Can confirm deoxys greedent guzzlord work really well this season… its a very bulky team, Dan would love it
I’ve been grinding the gbl win 3 wild pokemon reward for Poliwrath’s because I desperately need candy. I have all the XLs but in the valentines day event I evolved too many Poliwags for XLs and I didn’t realize my best Poliwrath is litterally level 1 and after walking for a week with it as my buddy I’m still 50 candy away from using it. Was hoping not to end up using rare candies on a mon thats so common but i think it might be worth it. Plus I finally powered up a UL A-Slash and I’ve want to run a Poli + A-Slash core for awhile now.
I think, much like ampharos, Heliolisk will see a bit of a return being able to hit super effective on Water types with Volt Switch and Grass know as well as the dragon type coverage for giratina. It also resists the shadow claw from feraligatr
