What does this mean for those of us who only read headlines?

Surprised Metroid Prime 4 isn’t in the pipeline. It’s probably a pure Switch 2 game at this point

Friendly reminder that Nintendo rightfully blacklisted Kotaku for articles covering leaks of unreleased games and have since demonstrated a vendetta against Nintendo. As if Kotaku’s credibility wasn’t already shit, take with a grain of salt.

I feel like it would be fun being a game tester for Nintendo. Working for Nintendo in general seems like a great time.

  5. Laid off a lot more than 100 that they were restructuring. Bigger news to me

Just give us Windwaker and/or twilight princess ports to switch to hold us over for switch 2

  7. This article says a significant number will become full-time employees.

    Misleading thread.

Kotaku? For real? You are posting an article from Kotaku and are expecting anyone to take it seriously?

When Playstation 5 and Series X can go months and even quarters without a major first party release, I’m not about to fault Nintendo for taking a more relaxed approach for the last year of the Switch. Let’s not forget that in the past 3 years they have doubled the first party output of both Sony and Microsoft.

I’m hoping the major takeaway is that Nintendo seemingly could be using the same playbook used for Switch. 1 Major release per month for the first year of the system, it worked wonders and holding some releases makes sense.

  10. I imagine there’s a game testing lull when the company is working on releasing a new console. I just want the reveal already! Nintendo loves to make us wait.

Honestly, after COVID everything is different. Games just don’t seem to have the value to them. Most of the “new” games I’ve purchased I’ve almost immediately felt regret. The only way I can explain it is, games are thrown out unfinished And left up to us the gamers to beta test and find bugs. Maybe I’m just getting old but I can still always generate hours of gameplay with the old Borderlands and BioShock games, but new games???

Damn still have one moire voucher that expires in July, and nothing is really calling my name! Was hoping for something that wasn’t just a remake or remaster this year 🙁

It’s a kotaku article. They are trying to salvage their current status and not shift to another trash walkthrough site.

Also it’s kotaku. I’d recommend reading any thing else, Like the back of a shampoo bottle before heading over that crap shoot.
