I may know the reason behind Pokemon Go Festival 2024 was pushed much early.
This is because the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics fall in 24 July 2024 to 11 August 2024. Niantic was preventing Pokemon Festival clashes with the Paris Summer Olympics this year that why Niantic launch global Pokemon Festival also the last Pokemon Festival event so early.
So when come to the Paris Summer Olympics games Pokemon Go players can put Pokemon Go game aside and watch Olympics games live.
MY poor Buddy changes all the the time. Right now its Shiny Primeape and I forgot that they show on the map, and with it being sunny where i live, I clicked on him and thought "OMG shiny Primeape in the wild." but no it was a Zorua 😂😂😅😅 dang sun light. But I can not wait to see if I can get a shiny Zorua

If you have a XXL Pumpkaboo as your buddy then every zorua you catch will be guaranteed XXL, so that's a cool way to catch some XXLs, and maybe even get a XXL shiny
There surely needs to be better incentive to Purify Shadows. I only just hit 500 on the medal today.

Caught a few non event shinies as well, Ledyba, Lillipup and Onix. So many of the shadow ones out I need a shiny for why not those….aaarrgghh
