This event is currently the best to hunt for shinies
It easily allows you to hunt down around 8-10 shinies each day just like a spotlight hour
I love this event, fun event to get the XXL medal. Also, did you see that Niantic switched the date format in the game? For some reason, it is now MMDDYYYY, I was so confused the day it was changed, I thought it was a bug but I can't seem to fix the date and it is all over the reddit as well.
The hundo for kartana is 2101 (Catch Up) and 2626 (Weather Boost).

I have done 15 raids, encountered 150+ wailmers and I’ve gotta NOTHING I did get shiny wimpod day 1 though I guess my luck went there

The luck in this event was crazy. Shadow shiny drowzy, shadow shiny polywag back to back raids. Also caught 4 wild shinys 2 being wimpod

Due to no Premier Ball for Gym Control in shadow raid. Those players who use Purified Gem during battle with Shadow Raid Boss are deserved extra Premier Balls when come to bonus challenge section.
