Niantic is slowly rolling out new character customization and people are jot happy with it. With this new customization they took away the old face option but have recently added it back, but it doesn’t help.

Niantic taking woke to a new level, virtually
My character has been massacred. All her curves are gone, and even when you have certain sliders on max you can't really tell a difference. The shorts on my outfit actually became a bit longer and the outfit looks so ugly now! Mind you, I spent money on the outfit! Only for them to make it look horrifying. I'm so annoyed.
I actually got my update reverted for some reason which I’m not complaining about but it’s strange
Avatar changes are for more closer representation for the Singaporean grandmas.
Even if they hired a kid to make the “updated” models, they would look better. This is just horrible. I cannot believe they are even thinking of alpha testing this crap.

Is there a glitch or hack going on with the Pokemon Gyms? I try to beat the trainer and shows as Trainername and as soon as you attempt to fight them, boom, game freezes? Wass up with that?!? Poke! If u can investigate more! Getting diabetes from the corrupt PVP now this with the gyms?? I can’t.
They basically made avatars into memes
Niantic MUST REVER THIS UPDATE! The character models we have had for 8 years were very appealing; whoever designed them had a good eye for design. We've all wanted more customization and hair styles, but they should ONLY update the avatar if it means continuing to use the avatar models we have had, as the base to continue to build upon.
Whoever was responsible for this update did a HORRIBLE job. They should never replace the existing avatars, as they look anatomically correct and are visually appealing.
The new character models have childish faces, the females lost all feminine characteristics (hips, long legs, slender face/smaller hands) and the males all have less broad shoulders that look like a little boy.
Whoever was responsible for this update did not even include all the skin tones we have had in game. The new skin tones also are very flat, with no shading and lighting/ambient occlusion. The skins tones now… it seems to only be peach or brown. Everything was better in place prior to this update.
The execution of new hair styles also does not even look good, the hair looks like flat color, there is no shading and highlights on the models for the hair. They look VERY low quality.
PUT THE CHARACTERS BACK TO HOW THEY WERE and use that model as the base to build upon!
Also the update apparently makes inactive players lose their customized outfit. This is enraging players who have friends who lost their life, or are simply inactive. Niantic should never change anyone's outfit without them doing so.
I think since Niantic likes their ar scanning data so much, they may aswell have us scan our bodies so nobody can lie about how much they weigh 😂

I was totally a Nintendo kid…that said…that has to be the most subtle version of a Sonic theme I have ever heard.
We don’t need all this Genderless BS in games! It’s a fricking game, not real life. We play games to escape all this PC crap and now they are shoving it down our throats in games too. 😞

I had the new customizations and then I closed out and it was gone when I reopened. So I have the original right now
