I’m keeping track of all my LG14 clears in this doc: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zt-L6_yxWLJcmUiEuVQdq2PDezPDHl6ws5YTlSDzjHc/edit
You’ll never catch me calling this rotation “Legendary Gauntlet No. 1” lmao. I didn’t go through 3 gauntlets with Moltres for them to be ignored like this.
Here’s how each battle went and the sync grids used:
Vs. Registeel: EX +10E SS Wally / Support Clefairy – https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=003620&s0=1&l0=150&r0=5&p0=0&a0=21010101&t0=44&n0=3&f0=20&v1=012801028202&s1=5&l1=150&r1=6&p1=0&a1=21010101&t1=44444&g1=AAECAwQFDQ4bHh8pKisvMjM0NQ&v2=0
(+10E means that I gave SS Wally 10 extra energy from the new grid overcap feature.)
Very tight run. You have to be lucky with proccing confusion and Registeel not curing it immediately to get as many Sp Def debuffs as possible. Clefairy will always be KOed by the Bar 3 Earthquake (unless you somehow get a confusion proc on it) so make sure you use all of its potions and buffs by then.
I used the extra energy to get a second sync tile as well as some defensive stat boosts. They’re technically not needed, but that sync tile makes Bar 3 a lot more consistent, since in my attempts before without it I would always fall short of KOing Registeel with the sync. In my initial testing I was able to get this with using the extra energy for Status Immunity though so it’s technically possible without it.
Vs. Tornadus: EX-R +6E SS Gladion / Support Igglybuff – https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=004020&s0=1&l0=150&r0=5&p0=0&a0=21010101&t0=44&n0=3&f0=20&v1=011901080100&s1=3&l1=150&r1=6&p1=0&a1=21010101&t1=44444&x1=true&g1=AAECAwQFBgkLDA0REhUWFxkaJyot&v2=0
I duo’d with Chansey before, but I figured Igglybuff would be a better partner since Gladion appreciates the Defense buffs for Bar 2. Still needs to be really lucky in getting those 30% para proc rates though – and I got pretty much the best luck here lol.
I used the extra energy to get the Fleur Cannon accuracy tile, which is technically not needed but makes this run a lot more consistent.
Vs. Tapu Bulu: EX Champion Iris / Support Primeape – https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=005720&s0=1&l0=150&r0=5&p0=0&a0=21010101&t0=44&n0=3&f0=20&v1=009201063500&s1=3&l1=140&r1=6&p1=0&a1=18040702&t1=4444&g1=AAECAwQFCw0VGBkjJSksLi8&v2=0
When I was planning for this rotation, after putting all my paralysis units on Torn, I initially put all my flinchers on Registeel. But then I figured that some of the ones with lower flinch rates can go to Bulu instead since it can only be flinched four times anyway. And if Bulu can consistently flinch me with its 20% rate in Zen Headbutt, then I can use that same odds against it lol.
That’s pretty much the idea behind this clear – hope Iris procs the Dragon Rush flinches when you need it. She can one-shot Bar 3 with her sync so you only have to worry about surviving long enough to get there.
Vs. Tapu Bulu: EX Guzma / Support Diglett – https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=005120&s0=5&l0=150&r0=5&p0=0&a0=21010101&t0=44&n0=3&f0=20&v1=012500076800&s1=5&l1=140&r1=6&p1=0&a1=24010501&t1=4444&g1=AAECAwQFBwoNHh8iKSotMDEzNDU&v2=0
Guzma’s Bulu solo was discovered recently, and it felt way too RNG-dependent since it relies a lot on what is essentially +2 Eva. So I figured an accuracy debuffer would be his best partner, and Support Diglett just so happens to also solve his gauge issues, making him free to run Grass Guard.
Vs. Tornadus: EX-R Penny / Support Tauros – https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=012820&s0=1&l0=150&r0=4&p0=0&a0=21010101&t0=44&n0=3&f0=20&v1=029300070000&s1=3&l1=150&r1=6&p1=0&a1=21010101&t1=4444&x1=true&g1=AAECAwQFBhcZHB8gISQnKi8y&v2=0
Penny can tank for days, and like Guzma all she really needs is help with gauge. Enter Support Tauros, who can buff her to +6 Speed while having a 30% para proc rate. This clear only really took as long as it did since I got really unlucky with para procs in Bar 3, but even then it was a comfortable win.
Vs. Registeel: EX Spring Burgh / Tech Aerodactyl – https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=014240&s0=1&l0=150&r0=4&p0=0&a0=21010101&t0=44&n0=3&f0=0&v1=017001017500&s1=2&l1=140&r1=6&p1=0&a1=18040702&t1=44444&g1=AAECAwQFExobHB4gISMmKSor&v2=0
I’ve had Spring Burgh at 2/5 for so long, and I feel like I should really candy him to make his solos more consistent. But there always seems to be another support I’d rather candy over him lol. Oh well, at least he can duo this stage with a relatively gauge-heavy flincher in Tech Aerodactyl, and with Burgh’s accuracy buffs Aerodactyl can run Vigilance instead of Pinpoint Entry.

I think I have asked you this before, but if I haven’t or you answered already, let me know: What do you think of Ayumu Murase, the Japanese voice of Wally?
DPS penny can’t hurt you
DPS penny:
That Gladion clear is pretty neat, think it would be doable at 1/5 0/20?
