I’m keeping track of all my LG14 clears in this doc: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zt-L6_yxWLJcmUiEuVQdq2PDezPDHl6ws5YTlSDzjHc/edit
Bulu is undoubtedly the easiest of the 3 stages in this rotation, but teambuilding for it is just as hard, if not harder, than the other two in a long streak. It’s challenging to find teams for Bulu without taking away potentially higher-value units from Tornadus or Registeel, which can lead to some really funny team comps.
I recorded six of what I used here. Here’s how each battle went and the sync grids used:
0:00 – EX Kris / Support Spearow – https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=002220&s0=1&l0=150&r0=5&p0=0&a0=18040702&t0=44&n0=3&f0=0&v1=001800016000&s1=5&l1=140&r1=6&p1=0&a1=13010602&t1=44444&g1=AAECAwQFBggREhUYGx4gIzAxMjM0&v2=0
Bulu can only be flinched four times, but the first two leave Bulu flinched for quite some time. I used that here so that Support Spearow can farm Shifty Striker and Defense Crush procs, with Kris providing the flinches and damage. Better DC2 rolls would’ve let me skip the +2 accuracy, but thankfully Spearow was dodgy enough for it to not matter.
3:47 – Katherine / Support Pidgeot – https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=001820&s0=1&l0=150&r0=5&p0=0&a0=24010501&t0=44&n0=3&f0=20&v1=065800068500&s1=5&l1=140&r1=5&p1=0&a1=13010602&t1=444&g1=AAECAwQFBgsNEBUYICMlKSwuLw&v2=0
In the same vein, Bulu can only be confused four times, but the first two instances have good odds of a confusion proc. Combine that with the long flinch duration, and it’s easy to preserve the low Lessen Confusion immunities for the highest chances of not taking a move. This clear uses those factors to an almost comical degree – I cannot even begin to explain how lucky this run is.
7:20 – EX Spring May / EX Lodge Calem – https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=000300065300&s0=5&l0=150&r0=6&p0=0&a0=13010602&t0=4444&g0=AAECAwQFERcaGxwfIiMkJS8&v1=012601042800&s1=2&l1=150&r1=6&p1=0&a1=24010501&t1=44444&g1=AAECAwQFBgcICRESExQVFhkcHR4fISUmJyo&v2=0
This combines elements of the previous two clears – evasion from Spring May and a combination of flinch and confusion between the two. Kinda surprised by how high Lodge Calem’s damage turned out to be here as I find him a bit underwhelming even when compared to other freebie units. That last Brick Break sure was something huh.
11:36 – EX Summer N / Archer – https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=014100022900&s0=1&l0=140&r0=5&p0=0&a0=24010501&t0=444&g0=AAECAwQFBgcICQ8QERIYGRobHB0jJCUmJyg&v1=008902057100&s1=3&l1=150&r1=6&p1=0&a1=13010602&t1=44444&g1=AAECAwQFBhESFBcaHyEkJSYpLC8&v2=0
Similar idea to the ones above, but I wanted to include this since for an evasion unit, Archer didn’t really do that much evading lmao
14:35 – EX Lodge Marnie / BP Erika – https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=000800011400&s0=3&l0=140&r0=5&p0=0&a0=24010501&t0=44444&g0=AAECAwQFBgcJDA8TFBUXGBscHR4jJScoKw&v1=024500045400&s1=5&l1=150&r1=6&p1=0&a1=13010602&t1=44444&g1=AAECAwQFCAsYGR0gIyUnKCstLi8&v2=0
While this is technically also an evasion clear with the accuracy debuffs, this also takes advantage of two other quirks in Bulu’s stage. The first time you apply trap, the damage will end up being pretty high, almost enough to cancel out the Grassy Terrain healing. And speaking of which, Grassy Terrain also affects your Grass-type moves, which Erika appreciated for the larger sustain. Marnie being super effective in Bar 2 lets her rush it down so that Erika will be the one to take the Wood Hammer.
17:40 – EX Valerie / Lodge Lillie – https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=011800076400&s0=3&l0=140&r0=5&p0=0&a0=18040502&t0=44444&g0=AAECAwQFBggLDQ4QHSAiLi8&v1=015700070000&s1=5&l1=140&r1=6&p1=0&a1=18040802&t1=44444&g1=AAECAwQFBgkKCwwNDxAfIiQ&v2=0
Much more different than the RNG fiestas that were the past five clears but I wanted to include one that doesn’t involve hoping for misses. (This one involves hoping for no natcrits instead haha) I got this comp from Shibi in Pomacord, and the combination of Attack debuffs, Stoic 2, and sustain lets Valerie tank this stage very comfortably.

No video Wallace + Roxie :(((( Can you upload this :((((
That defense crush rng on spearow is painful. Sometimes I feel like the game just forgets I have mind games or defense crush unless it’s guaranteed.
