Lucky skill: Recharging Strike 1
While it’s definitely a flinch check, Close Combat does such high damage that you won’t have to flinch-chain so long. You of course have to flinch the important moves – Bar 2 Iron Defense, Hyper Beam, Giga Impact, and the sure crit Earthquakes (though you can tank the first one without proccing Endurance) – and hope that the gauge refreshes are generous.
I needed the extra 4 energy so that I could get Punishing Strike and both multipliers. Even if you go with Pin Missile MGR instead of Ramming Speed, you’ll still need 2 extra energy, but at that point I recommend just going for 4.
(Of course, I discover this after I already do the Bulu solo for Gauntlet lmao.)
