The friendship system in Pokemon Go has been out since 2018. Allowing us to hit good, great, ultra and best friends with friends whom we add in Pokemon Go. Today, I’m here to share some tips on how to optimise the way we interact with our friends on a daily basis. Hope everyone will find this useful.

I use the nickname feature to "block" interacting with a friend when we are one interaction from leveling-up. Practically, I just write "NOOO" as a nickname after the next-to-last interaction, and that way I can stack up friends to level up with (and organize with them) so we can use a Lucky Egg and maximize XP gain. On the agreed day & time, I simply have to search for "NOOO" and all the friends accumulated for leveling up appear, and… let the XP pour in! 🙂
On a side note: I usually plan friendship level-ups for the beginning of Raid Hour on Wednesdays; in that way we avoid "accidental" leveling-ups by raiding together among my players' community 😉 AND you get the 10k XP doubled for the first 3 or 4 raids at least!
One request to NIantic about the "Nickname" feature: please, when you want to modify a nickname, have the current nickname appear in the text box, not a blank slate! Thank you!
Some bug out event. One shiny and haven't seen one single burmy, thought the shiny was increased for combee and burmy? 12 raids and no shiny heracross.
