When i explore the customization options, i was like: Wtf are these colorful hair with different haircuts and body sizes 🤡
For real about the bug event! I was really hoping for a blog about the next event so i can actually be excited for something other than new backgrounds. I'm already lvl 50 so unless lvl 60 is on the horizon, this event seems wasted. If i get one of the new shinies then bonus but this event certainly isn't worth grinding out. The only way this event could've been worse is if there were glitches(bugs lol) during it. The irony would've been funny though lol.
Can't wait to see the customization update on the 17th just 2 days to go

Kanto again? For someone who has played this game since day one this doesn't interest me. I've completed the kanto, johto and hoenn pokedex and as far as i'm concerned this is a waste of an update
New backgrounds are already ingame in the UK. They look cool. Unlike the new avatars! Which are horrendous. If Niantic wants to add new character options, fine, whatever. Just give us an option to keep our old avatars just exactly as they are.
I feel like the avatar customization would be way better if you could choose male or female. Or just choose the old characters instead

Lmfao this cracked me up. I have no idea why niantic is trying to be “woke” with the non binary stuff but it’s totally unnecessary. Hopefully they don’t try pushing more silly ideas like that in the future.

I swear, immediately after the update, I'm submitting a support ticket to refund my purchased character cosmetics for pokecoins. I'd rather have more storage than see the butchered cosmetics I finally scraped together for and loved suddenly look like crap on character models that look worse/older than what we already had. I don't understand why they didn't just expand customization of the existing models instead of making us all look like potatoe sacks. (Yes that e is intentional…)

I'm constantly getting ads for Pokemon Go on Duolingo – and all of the ads are essentially "remember how great Pokemon Go was? Come back and collect more Pokemon." All the ads seem to be promoting how Niantic wants people to play Pokemon Go, not what current players want. IMO, it seems like they want to bring back all the players who left to replace the current players they don't like.

Personally huge fan of the avatar rework as it’s substantially more inclusive to all genders and body types. It’s far from perfect but sososososososo much better than what’s here now.
The clothes have been jacked up for years. Women's shirts over pants showing through regularly. Not particularly impressed with the thong showing out of the top of the pants either – little kids play this game. I'm not impressed with routes, and after doing three, I stopped doing them.

The community ambassador here told me -oh they won’t roll the Avatars like they are now, Niantic listens to feedback bla bla bla, guess what? It still sucks, I don’t mind adding options for different people to personalise their Avatar, but why remove the one we already have?? What’s the point ?
