I live in NZ and can confidently say that, aside from the initial novelty of them, once you get used to the new biomes they have absolutely no impact on game play. I’ve also had the avatar “update” for several weeks and it’s still gross. I’m sick of badly fitting outfits, the weird proportions and especially of stomping around the map like Shrek and jerking around like some weird marionette after winning battles. It’s incredibly off putting!
My game just started playing faster today. Like I went from having a navida 1080 to a 4080 faster. Anyone else experience this?

The event is ass but of course ya got to.male.kt.spund so extravagant when it's a dog water event. Not even going to bother with it biggest scheme this game has to offer looks like I'm taking a week off and saving my money for go fest nothing of this event interest me enough to spend $$ on.

When i was in Mexico a couple of weeks ago, i got the update. I really dont like how the Avatars looked. I actually slowed down on playing because of how odd my avatar looked. It went back to normal once i was in Canada again..
Biome update (catch screen update) is just a graphical update. It’s been live in Brazil for a while.

The new biomes are a bit rubbish. Preferred it before. Don't really want to see ugly large grey vague rectangular buildings. See enough of that in real life 😂. Fail
I've got the updates already. (In UK) it's made no difference to the game bar the look of the map and when you catch pokemon
This sustainability events also no new Pokemon makes debut then those were repeating Pokemon and it's shiny form.
I am remember, Niantic promise us global release Skiddo a grass type Pokemon but did not make it release globally.
May be Skiddo release globally by a surprise special research like global release Shaymin last year?

UK PLayer here.
The background update when catching pokemon is really nice, though a little quirky at times with the occasional pokemon mostly hidden behind a rock (you pokeball will pass through the rock though). Also the Avatar update seems unneeded. Was anyone bothered about having the same avatars as everyone else? This just seems like a move to quell the very small and loud, Woke Brigade and if anything makes the characters look more 'cartoonie' than they already did.
Just downloaded emulator with radical red….it's gonna be a shame never opening pokemon go again but I'll sure be glad to not have to pay $1 for each activity
