All the new quality of life updates and we still have origin form healing glitch, shadow raids are a waste for most people because of the purified gem system, and no showcases outside of “biggest _____”. Sure, these will get worked on in the future, but the fact the first one has been a year-long glitch (made even worse by the heal all feature since it wastes an item every time) and the fact they seem to just move past features onto new ones feels like they don’t really care. They seem more on bringing in new people and almost tricking them into thinking it’s changed, but most of it is minor or visual
Everyone is thinking the spawns will be kanto stuff with the new backdrops for the encounter dropping on the Same day

i hate the new encounter screens, they are so damn laggy and just make it pretty much impossible for me to actually catch pokemon. A way to turn them off would be great.

its really frustrating to bc almost all these pokemon are pay walled in many ways, and routes are almost impossible for disabled people like me. the only routes i can do are drivable ones. i still haven't finished the route quest line. the hostility these devs have for disabled people is insane. its one thing if they put those features in as an option, but making certain things necessary for these is just straight up ableist.

Just looked at the new avatars for the game, how do they all look worse than before. All of the male body styles are either skinny and tall or make you head to small for your body.

In the future that may be introduces field research will award shadow Pokemon.
For example field research defeat six grunts and defeat a leader.
Once those field research completed that will grant you Shadow Spinda as a award.
Unfortunately the avatar update is hot garbage, the AR update isn't anything great and the graphics update isn't anything life changing
The game needs real accessibility updates after removing unlimited remote raids which I don't think will ever come. There have been a few great raids but apart from that I feel like they are selling alot of sizzle and very little steak.
Sure it's great if the game looks prettier but if rural players experience still sucks and there's very little new experiences you won't keep people interested to enjoy better graphics.
At the end of the day it's a mobile game so graphics aren't going to compete with console or pc anyway imo

3:53 Pokemon Go in 2024 is the most boring in years. The constant focus on repeat Pokémon and costumes rather than meta-relevant pokemon. Even legendaries are getting recycled and without new moves. I loved the introduction of nature's madness but then they do comdays like bellsprout. I always felt that weedle comday was the worst but now that spot has been taken by Bellsprout. I guess it has to do with the Western culture where they value Pokemon 69 on April 20, but I am not a Christian and the only meaning of 420 for me is fraud (IPC section 420). Why is Niantic forcing Western culture over the whole player base? I hope that I will get over Pokémon Go soon since Niantic will never listen to us. The worst part is that they are making an event for a feature that has been available for weeks. And the avatar update is just as bad as RRP nerf. 5:47 I wish we got this warning before they changes it for us in the UK a few weeks back.
