Dude, this stuff is CRAZY. I can't believe how botched of an update launch this is. Not to mention that Niantic has DIRECT ties to DEI consultancy agencies, which I do get into in this video. Updates!? Don't they mean downgrades?
I think we should all be requesting refunds for any cosmetics we bought as they no longer represent the same thing we actually paid money for and they're going back and retroactively making changes to something that we had already purchased.

I used to be a serious Pokémon GO fan back between 2020-2023. I spent money for in game items, world events (Pokémon Go Fest), and just had a blast playing the game with my friends. I stopped playing it last year because I got injured and trying to walk with crutches and catch Pokémon is near impossible. I am glad I stopped early because this is really bad how they have altered the characters body types and it prevent me from sinking more time and money into another corrupt gaming company.

I seriously don't understand why this stuff is being pushed for such a small minority, like Pokemon GO is a game that MILLIONS have played, it isn't a MALE-dominated game by any stretch. Yet they've broken their entire character creation system? Maybe if they'd pushed the update out and said, you've got a choice, it would have gone down better, but they literally just broke the avatars people had been using since the app was released.

Pokemon go was made to get people to go outside and excersise. It helped others connect together around the world for fun and freedom. Now Niantic is doing the opposite. With their new game ruining avatars that are cursed and whitewashed on the skin colors. Unfair update for many veteran players who all think the game was fine the way it was already!
