Inclusion would mean you add "neutral" body type as third option. If you only have 3rd option it is exclusion.
They didn't make a local player rename himself who describes his "bussie" in his name. Reporting it did nothing..

Women’s suffrage…. what’s that? What is a woman Niantic? Our avatars are so frumpy! They don’t have my shade of blonde either but they have 6 colors of blue!
Isn’t there a reason there’s a third option called “other” for gender options now? Why couldn’t Niantic have made a third option?
Since avatars don't have anything to do with the gamelay, I wish they would have given us the option to keep our old avatars or such to the new style. That way everyone is happy.

Old problem: only 1 male and 1 female body type
Current problem: only androgynous body types
Solution: There needs to be way more customizations and specifics. An avatar should be able look masculine, feminine, androgynous or however they want to. A curvy female body type 100% should be an option HOWEVER it shouldn't be the only feminine body type customization.
Imo it wasn't ideal before and it's even worse now.
A lot of trans ideology seeks to erase women. We're seeing it here right in front of our faces.
All a man has to do is say they're a woman and we can't say no.
Women don't have the same power to say they're men and invade men's spaces.

I agree with everything you said! The new avatar options is horrible. I miss the old avatar. The smallest options are still so broad & manly. The shoulders, the torso, the crotch, the stance, the lack of hips 😢
Next step for Niantic: option to add facial hair and penis sihouette for "female" avatar, option to add breast and breast feeding pose for "male" avatar, option to include preferred gender pronounce and sexual orientation symbols on nickname.. seriously, the whole world is laughing privately at Americans due to American Corporate Woke BS and idiocy. I feel bad for the ordinary rational Americans who want no part of this.

I quit the game over this, after nearly 8 years.
I agree that female avatars got it worse, but in my opinion male ones are pretty bad too. Like you said at the end of video, faces are terrible. One thing that I really liked i GO compared to main series games is that finally you can play as somewhat adult looking character, now we are back to primary school because of those baby faces. Also body shape in my opinion is more like a child compared to adult like it was before update. It's just disappointing that this is the best that developer could deliver, at the end of the day this is still very basic character creator and they screw it so badly. It's not some unknown IP where they don't have money for something like that. It's good that player base is angry, let them know that we wont settle for medicority, or in this case making game worse experiance for majority of players.
So it's OK for us to search male and female in our search string for pokemon tho… how selective

How about they listen when they start hemmoraging users after this crap update. This is a multimillion dollar company, they don't care about your "nice feedback" they only care about their bottom line. If they cared about you bekng "nice" the game would be 1000x what it is right now.

Why do they keep doing things no one asked for and then doing them wrong?
The game could have focused on actual core mechanics that would give everyone a better gaming experience and environment but nope let’s make nightmares for all of us to stare at onscreen…. I love anime for a lot of reasons and one of them is the unique character design and art that sets anime apart. It’s ridiculous to me to move away from a character structure that literally sets anime apart as a unique form of art and design. I absolutely hate the new character designs and I can’t even open the game because I don’t want to see the freakish things that are now happening. Bring back classic anime characters. Theres literally games shows pokemon cards art and manga all showcasing a variety of anime character designs that would have made infinitely better sense than the horrendous alien life forms that now grace the screens.
