Wait for patches if you want to play this.
As a backer I’m disappointed to hear that the Switch performance is not great. For a game that has been developed with Switch in mind the entire time there really is no excuse.

Definitely one of my biggest Switch highlights this year. As for the alleged performance hiccups (emphasis on “alleged” because even my digital Bloodstained copy procured barely a month since launch, checked out on a grand total of one issue claim among several dozen), I’ll be the judge of them unless the real ones get patched out before I finish Rising. But at least they generate more hilarity through the autopilot “underpowered Switch” jabs fandomside. Indeed, the gameplay and visuals consciously channeling a Gen 5-7 series are clearly too much for a machine that received a port of Kingdom Come Deliverance weeks earlier.
Makes me wonder if Konami will screw up the Suikoden 1&2 Collection lol
I’m surprised they didn’t put more effort into the Switch version, being that the system is very popular in Japan compared to other systems. I know the game was not supposed to be released on the Switch, and they were waiting for Switch 2, but come on….

I know this is the switch thread, but I’ve been hearing mixed things about this version so I decided to start a run on xbox gamepass and it seems to be running smooth so far

I’m out of the loop, but I’ve seen people talk about a poor translation in this game? Is it like a really bad translation or what?
Edit: Oh…wow lol. So I looked for myself and, yeah they took some…artistic liberties it looks like. “We gotta find a thing that does the thing”
