Luckily I never paid any money for any items, but I hated my avatar after the update. Thanks Niantic for ruining this game for me. I went from tall and handsome to short and soy. Do better Pokemon company please!

I’m a HUGE lifelong Pokemon fan and honestly this update was insulting and has pushed me away permanently. I’m appalled with what they did. If anything, they should’ve made the changes OPTIONAL. Some of us have paid a lot of REAL money on their avatars. Never again!
I want my money back!! They turned my beautiful avatar into a DUDE. 😡😡 The female avatars legs look like tree trunks, while the male ones are feminine af and more shapely even!! Wtfff

I wonder why not just make something like like what Street Fighter VI did with the customs characters and choose how you look at that then everyone would win.
Niantic refused to give me my money back working on legal action for the 100s of dollars I spent on the game
4:50 no bro if enough players would uninstall app this change would be reverse in seconds.
There was a game I played years back and they messed with the avatars and I instantly quit the game, deleted it and never went back.
Now here I am again. Moved my Pokémon and deleted the game. I am done with go. You can't mess with my avatar.

It's fun, how it says "high ranking NIA employee".. So this actually got elevated really high at Nintendo, maybe somewhere up the "brand protection and license department" (or whatever it's called) got a mail with "Look, what they did with Pokemon. This will damage our IP permanently. Go investigate ASAP".
A refund is definitely needed.

If anyone here plays pokemon go and hates the new update. If you want your female player character to look a little better pick the body with the smallest waist and slide the hips to max and the chest to 2 below the max and put muscle to zero. Won't look like the old one but will be a bit better
When the update came out….i stopped to wonder why I grew tits as a guy character….

I can guarantee you that 99.9% of the PoGo players do not want their characters looking like they have their own gravitational orbit. Who did they make this update for? Tess Holiday? Why does my character have the face that only a mother could love? It's so fat compared to my skinny avatar!
They won't change… the team lead must be corrupt, they need to go. Let the artists decide, they understand visuals. This feels like a rush job with no love, heck, the art team needs to quit! They know this is ugly…

Their is a legal case here for it.
These people bought specific models for their customs with their money.
Now a update has forcefuly changed them into something else. Yet in the stores the old models are being used to sell the customs.

I’m transferring all my shines to Pokemon Home. 😟 Imagine if Pokemon Go ended transferring Pokemon to Home too. Just because Niantic are fighting back on people’s feedbacks. Niantic just took away Go players characters figures and some clothes accessories.
