New series. In this series I go over the history of pokemon including their meta relevance in GBL. In the series I will go over important information like stats, moveset, and typings; what seasons the pokemon were relevant in and why; and how to team build with the pokemon.

This channel is where you come if you want ideas for:
Great League Teams
Ultra League Teams
Master League Teams

Beyond the Hype. I created this series as there is a lot of click bait and false impressions of pokemon and I want to give you a real in depth analysis of whether a pokemon is worth spending dust and candies on.

This week it is great league and master league premier. Master league premier means no legendary pokemon.

In my first master league premier team we use an oldy but goody team, dragonite double steel – excadrill and metagross.

  1. well one should keep in mind 2 things
    1. many remaining players trying to rank up don't have the XL candy or Stardust to get to Lv 50! These players that play Great League and some Ultra!
    2. the ones that do have the XL candy already hit Legend! LOL
as we can see in the video, you mentioned that it is obvious that the player base at your rank are playing with waht they have to work with am not exactly the right team to climb!
I do believe this one will be KO by Tuesday! LOL no one will care! Niantic needs to bring these leagues more often to motivate the player base correctly!

  2. I was excited for the return of MLP and i can't build them myself so it's purely through your content. Thank you! 🙂

  3. I had fun with Empoleon, gyarados, Dragonite, went 16-9 with it.. trying to figure out a third to make a team with gholdengo/golisopod to try out

  4. I'm still fairly new to PvP as I only started about 3 seasons ago. I'm currently sitting in the 2700's for great league but don't have the XL's to build any pokemon for the master league premier. My plan was to build Florges and rhyperior because they have a nearly perfect core. Florges with petal blizzard on the lead would be completely unexpected to any water leads/safe swaps

  5. Damnnn. I just played this team with my shadow shundo dragonite in the lead. And i won 11 games in a row😁. It worked really well!!

Im at 2618 elo now. Hoping to get to expert fast and maybe get to legend this season!

  6. Managed to get 20-5 (two 5-0s and three 3-2s) using Dnite double steel team comp you showed today. I did run into only one Gholdengo user, and lost that game as my Exca was out of the field which their Gholdengo swept the rest of my team lol.
Gholdengo is a menace in ML premier, but not many people have it. This means Gholdengo is like the cheat code for climbing.

  7. I’m getting very very effective using shadow exca in open gl😂 been religiously using it and if you learn how to gain farm in a safe way against resisted fast moves you’ll wreck whatever is infront of you almost, stay away from everything neutral or super effective and always save a shield for the mole. Dance around fighters with a strong tanky backline, altaria, lantern, whatever can take a hit and isn’t super weak against fighting or fire. because you’ll be catching alot of moves in search for energy gain🤪

  8. this is not true what you say! when I fight with this team, losing is almost everything. so that means that you are lying and that this is fake!
