They’re larger player base are casual players that will continue to give money to them until they do something so stupid and horrible they stop… We only make up a small percentage of people that play.. case and Point the Pokémon GO fest. They’re usually sold out and are big turnouts so that shows you how much people don’t care whatever Niantic do…. As long as people that exist and will continue to give them money and support their game they will continue doing what they do

  3. I also don't think poses should be refunded. You were using it for some time and were happy about it! Same as you cannot sell Mr. Mime back bc it became irrelevant 😂

  4. When I used to play Fortnite a while back they sometimes changed the look of skins for different reasons but they always gave the players an option to refund if they don’t like the look of the skin after the change. This is exactly how Niantic should’ve done it but they don’t care

  5. If they asked for a refund without first trying to do a chargeback, then that is a whole new low to ban them. If it was a chargeback attempt, then this specific event is not that special as a lot of other news articles and threads for other games complain about bans from chargebacks, but it's still not good for getting back trust after the avatar incident.

    If no chargebacks or similar attempts to get money back from banks or other sources were made, however, then that's a whole new level of malpractice. You shouldn't be banned the first instance for simply asking for a refund, that's total lunacy! How is using the internal customer support trustworthy if there's a real risk of being banned for minor things like that? Not a good look for Niantic and it's likely going to damage The Pokémon Company by association.

  6. Niantic support is the absolute worst. I’ve been messaging them about a glitch for over a year and they give the same recycled lame suggestions then close out the message.

  7. just went to send some of my pokeymans to home because they aren't going to be needed in GO anytime soon and I noticed the one thing that wasn't lagging was the update cutscene with professor willow who hasn't been turned into a hermaphrodite blob with bitchtits. remember when those were the laggiest part?

  8. if I prepare a lawsuit and sue niantic,will the community support me?I would need proof of payment, pictures before and after, and a concrete paragraph stating why that pose was false advertisement(100 words).I need at least 800-100 for a chance of winning and getting a refund for all the items and potentially more.

  10. In reality niantic could just deleate everything you have purchased and say yeah it was an update get bent. This is what the digital age of gaming is. Do not spend money on games unless you ate ok with it being gone the next day.

  11. given that the game is foreign, false advertising and various illegal actions are completely ignored by their respective countries because only in America are these actions illegal. couple this elite level world class stupidity from the devs as whole. in the end: sadly you end up screamin at the top of your lungs at 100% completely deaf-asses. this completely a common thing thru out mobile gaming companies.

  13. if your on IoS, you can request refunds for money spent on games and give them specific reasons why, aka like this, without having the game/developer treat it as a charge back, apple takes the hit, whic is stupid as hell, but enough of apple taking the hit, believe me apple will put them in their cockroach place because niantic is literally a bug to apple

  16. I tried to get refund for my Dusclops hat and/or the dia de muertos mask. Since the avatar update i cant wear them together anymore. But no chance because of the niantic terms of service.

  17. I asked customer service for a refund of ALL my items that I purchased, except backpacks. They said they can't because it isn't against their TOS. They then sent me the link to their TOS. I read it and there's actually a part in there that says they can alter any items in the game, purchased or not. So heads up, they covered their butts.

  20. Listen, I did a shadow magneton raid, and i got thrown out from the raid when the reward came. And it’s a fkn NORMAL HUNDO??? Can they do something about this??! I want that shadow but I’m 99,9% sure they will do nothing. That has never happened to me but for sure it happens when it’s a shadow hundo!!!

  21. They have changed the look of certain items. The purple flower shirt that I liked is different now to the point I am not using it for my character anymore.

  22. Niantic won't get even a penny from now on, no matter what event or BS they bring. Coz even after paying for it, if I don't like it and complain about it then I am going to lose it all anyway.
