This Pokémon has paws made of ice. Pokémon scientists have a theory that the ice on its paws helps it keep its grip on the icey mountain it calls home. Flynx was almost hunted to extinction for its unique fur but since then a Pokémon protection program was put in place to keep this Pokémon safe and their numbers have increased.
