The reason you came up against Mnadibuzz is because match making is, in part, based on what moves you’re running. So if they see ghosts, they’re going to throw darks at you.
The algorithm is absolutely real, you could turn around and run triple water and grass would be everywhere. Test is and you will see it's not just bad luck

Algorithm is based on move typings just like raids. The system already exists and is well know for raids.

The match-making is based on more than just pairing you with someone of similar ELO.
Period. Objectively. End of story.
Run 3 ghosts and then all of a sudden you get darks each game. Crazy! Its almost as if there is some non existing force within the game that determines your matchups based on your pokemon movesets and typing..
Due to the crazy lag and stutter I decided to just run stupid things and play around for fun…dragon teams drew out stuff like dedenne and sylveon after never seeing any, dark drew out machamp and obstagoon that I never saw previously. The algorithm is more prevalent than ever!

On my legend run in Ml I had my Ho-Oh on a Xern and for the first time I learned Xern learns thunder 🤣

I saw someone running your team with the froslass variant and my sableye just kinda owned them. I have been thinking of running double ghost with sableye and annihilape (with ice punch) in the back. Gonna need something for fairies in the front like a steel or poision but it sounds fun. Maybe toxapex or magnezome
So annoying that I had to lose my perfect Sableye to this shitty XL addition. Also, a VERY annoying hunt to get a good IV Jellicent for GL. This is a spicy team that I'd run if I could.
I ran a triple bug/flying theme team earlier and ran into triple fire/flying, I'm starting to actually hate this game
1:15 "No ones using scrafty" funny how I had 3 sets with Scrafty lead once I switched to Steelix lead
Yeah I got algorithmed as well. It is really annoying when trying to climb.
Algorithm is real. I ran a team triple weak to ferrothron and guess what was in every lead.
Funny thing this bad luck. It just seems to follow you around. And then you finally get the 1 lead match up you been waiting for and they call you every time you bait. Almost as if they know what you have in the back and what moves they have.
3rd season in a row where I am just barely playing GBL. It was the reason I loved this game. But it sure feels like it is rigged against you. I didn't even make level 20 last season for the first time since I learned it existed. I am at level 18 right now…
Between the lag, algorithm and cheating this has become far from fun these days. But it's just bad luck and I need to play better… I know…
I got hard algorithm'd 2 days ago running a steel lead and 5 fighters set 1 so I switched to a flyer and found 5 ices, so switched back…there are those fighters again! hehe. At least the screen lags were at a minimum that day.
15:52 this catch was due to you throwing the avalanche on alignment because of the 1 turn swap out (which I’m sure you’re aware).
I can imagine you were already frustrated with the team compositions and just over it at this point in your set.
The algorithm is so annoying
If you want Tripple ghost why not use shadow sableye with Rock attack
