New series. In this series I go over the history of pokemon including their meta relevance in GBL. In the series I will go over important information like stats, moveset, and typings; what seasons the pokemon were relevant in and why; and how to team build with the pokemon.

The best Ottawa Pokemon Go Youtuber….is Poke Daxi but I am here too
This channel is where you come if you want ideas for:
Great League Teams
Ultra League Teams
Master League Teams
Beyond the Hype. I created this series as there is a lot of click bait and false impressions of pokemon and I want to give you a real in depth analysis of whether a pokemon is worth spending dust and candies on.
It is the last week of the season which means all three leagues – great league, ultra league, and master league are on.
THis video will go over the best great league teams.

Hey Dan, I would like it if you could add a Safe Swap icon to your graphics. I've noticed you sometimes have it in the middle but sometimes it's on the bottom. I know it's probably obvious to most people which is which but sometimes you don't say which one and I'm not sure either
Hey, YouTube. There is one week left, uh, until the new season of GBL.
So let's look at some great league teams and Pokemon.
Uhm, again, the, if you haven't played great league this season, a little late to the game, but the meta pretty much has not changed at all since the start of the season.
My solution to fix the meta… Re-buff trev…
Random question – with turnover happening later today, do you get a new set of battles then, or is it a flat set of 5 for the day?
For your first team maybe Whiscash, Gligar, Charjabug? Or maybe instead of Gligar use Annilape, or Poliwrath or Greedent as safe swaps? Maybe Dewgong?
Rebuff,
Treve,
Medi,
Annihilape really shouldn't be complained about, it's an amazing pokémon that we all have access to. It's nice for new players to have a top meta pokemon that doesnt take 400,000 stardust and 200+ xl candy to build.
Hey much respect from Australia, any chance of a UL break down? I’ve recently got a #20 tentacruel and a #12 clefable and #23 greedent to 2500, looking to build a tentacruel team (I have the whole top 20-30 ranked UL just trying to make the perfect tentacruel team) would be awesome if you had some tips
Just hit legend today after jumping from 2750 to 3000 using a team of annihilape alolan sandslash and regi. Retiring for the rest of the season!
QUESTION DAN My licky is currently at 1440cp and 175HP that’ll be good to use still yeah ? Running with Charijabug Lead // Licky Safeswap and WHISCASH (:
Hi im new to pokemon go, my great league team has some mix of Primeape CP1383 (counter and close combat), Charizard CP1497 (Fire Spin, Dragon Claw), Poliwrath CP1488 (Counter, Icy Wind), Stunfisk CP1092 (Mud Shot, Mud Bomb), Annihilape CP1274 (Low Sweep, Night Slash), is this a good team? Looking to get better moves on the Annihilape, because my Primeape will be too high CP if I evolve it. Wondering what my general weaknesses would be for a Primeape, Zard, Poliwrath team would be, or if I should insert Stunfisk at all. Will replace Primeape with Annihilape when I can
shadow quag w/ aqua tail would probably be my #1 in this current meta in great league and will prob continue to be the top ranked water going into next season assuming scald gets a nerf. annihilape and feraligator is prob come close 2nd and 3rd for me.
I have a question about building my first Lickatung. I got the nr.1 ranked lickatung, but I tried to get XL and reguar Candy to build one, but only 137 XL Candy (945 regular Candys) and I grinded for sure for at leasdt a half a year. I would still need 160 XL. Is it worth to grind, or should i just build my ranked 190 Great League Lickatung, since i only need 133CL Candy, which means I can build it now and start using it. Thanks for your opinion on the subject. Keep up the good Contet. Maybe I will hit expert and veteran on dany because of your videos ;D
im using Quagsire/trail blaze ampharos/gligar
only at 2100 atm first time doing pvp and im really enjoying it all ym stuffs catchcup hehe so it doesnt effect me much
Annhilape isnt op at all. Hes pretty balanced and plenty of counters in the main meta. Plus its top meta that is easily accessible for all players
(Sorry for my spelling on Pokemon names)
Dear Dan, I'm looking for some advice here —
I'd been using skarmory the last forever but mid this season I swapped out my flyer for talonflame because I had a terrible vulnerability to fire types. I really like my ice sandshrew as my starter because it can intimidate a lot of teams off the bat but if there's a fighter starter I'm essentially screwed because my safe switch is my umbreon and in that situation I feel like switching to talonflame is just a stupid move because the obvious move imo would be to switch away once I send out talonflame. If the starter is annililape I'm just sending out my umbreon and taking the punches because annilape's dark charged move isn't doing much while umberon's dark pulse will do something at least. I really like this team and its brought me ranking mid-Ace since switching out for talonflame but this vulnerability to fighting type I'm really having trouble with especially because I'm seeing annililape as a starter often enough but a swtich to annililape on my ice sandshrew (or any other fighter type really) I can swing it. I've really tried to balance my team out well and have developed good strategy well enough. I'm looking for advice and how to navigate my team. I just started last summer and I enjoy the game but always looking for pointers.
The ground/water combos are difficult for me too but I find that I'm able to navigate them well enough although not perfectly, but well enough because I've got umbreon on my team.
Any help I'd so apreciate!

This game is unplayable now. I'm not the best battler in the world, but I just logged 5 losing sets due to game lag problems. A MINIMUM of two out of five matches were lost in each set because the game froze, or the app outright crashed, and I re-started to find a Pokemon gone and my opponent loaded with 100 energy. One set was 4 losses due to freezes and crashes.
I'm about to quit. There's literally no point. I contact Niantic support about it, but there's no reply. I upload my battle logs after every freeze (which tonight was pretty much every match) and they never care.
I hit legend the other day before league turnover and then dipped just under before hitting my career high. It's the first time I've hit legend and I'm thrilled as a relatively new player to the PvP scene. The team I ran during Catch cup was Mantine lead, annihilape safe swap, and regular stunfisk with mud shot close. In open GL I run Shadow alolan sandslash, whiscash safe swap, mantine close. Having access to a good IV mantine and the buff to water pulse this season has catapulted my elo. I hope by sharing these teams that others might find some last minute success
