Meet the rootin’ tootin’ wild varmint regional rodent line of my Ijoshi region, Oposso and Oposseff
Oposso is from the words opossum and lasso. Oposso’s love to play all day long, they’ll use their tails to do activities like jump-roping, bungee jumping, and their favorite, playing cowboy. Their tails are quite long and seem to act like an elastic, so their tails can not only reach far with their natural length, but can stretch incredibly long
Oposseff is from the words opossum, posse, and sheriff. Now grown out of their playing phase, Oposseff’s like to take justice into their own hands if something doesn’t seem right. With an even longer tail now, they use it as a whip to help them fight in combat., and they use their younger Oposso’s as lassos, being able to hold on tightly to their foes and bite down on them. Some would think this is child abuse but the young Oposso’s have no idea what is actually happening and think they are just playing cowboy with their parent, having the time of their lives
