I couldn’t pick a region to fit them in, but I had this concept of Diggersby as a sort of Venus flytrap.
BUNNELBY – Grass type
DIGGERSBY (or TRICKERSBY) – Grass/Ground type
These Bunnelby steal other Pokémon’s eggs and paint them like berries while Diggersby (or maybe Trickersby?) stores painted eggs and berries in his hears, tricking bird Pokémon into them.
When a Pokémon lands, Diggersby snap their ears to trap them.
Obvious inspiration is the Easter Bunny.
