   Lance is fucking strong. the DEI crowd did him dirty in netflix, he was world champ and runner up. you don't get that high if you're trash to imply he's #8 it's a fucking joke.

   I was so happy when you mentioned that Ash was only victorious due to using so many gimmicks against Leon. I've felt that ever since that battle!

   And thank you for giving Leon the Number One spot. He totally deserves it!

   I think its worth noting that Ash won the tournament using Pikachu and a pokemon team that he had for only this series. He was going against people with Pokemon theyve trained for years+

   Just gonna throw this out there but Ash using multiple Gimmicks in the final battle SHOULD NOT go against his overall strength. We shouldn't lower his ranking just because Ash took the time to actually learn other battle mechanics while everybody else just stuck with what works for them(mega evolution, g max). Only Cynthia learned a different mechanic and we wouldn't think less of her if she had used both in a single battle.

   Paul never defeated any legendaries, unlike Alan, and Alan defeated those legendaries with only his Charizard

    Ash should have been 10 for the simple fact he could have actually dusted Leon with Mon’s from prior teams so technically Leon had a handicap too.

    Changes to make for the master 8
    1 add Alder in replace of Alain
    2 have Ash face all champions in order of their rankings and have the battles be 6v6
    3 have Ash use all his Pokémon mix and mash them and do some crazy strategies
    4 just to make it more harder add an extra that Ash can not use gimmicks (as for battle bond thats) questionable
