We’ll never have something as cool as this unless we get a Remake of Gen 5. Even then they probably won’t put it in the game
It was so cool getting to hear all the Gym Leader and Champion themes in the Gen 5 soundfont.

Would be pretty cool to have a character be a boss in a battle facility and then have them show up in the next game as a member of the Elite Four. Could have them be the last member of the Elite Four, and allude to the fact that they're holding back before they fight you, then when you beat them they'll say something like "You seem strong enough, come back if you manage to beat the champion, and I'll go all out against you." Then the next time you go through the elite four, they're not using their mono-type team, but instead use a balanced and competitive team similar to what they used in the previous game, but with a couple pokemon added in from the new gen, then say "The champion got tired of no trainers making it past me, so she asked me to hold back. But you, you have proven yourself strong enough for me to go all out!"
Could also have them tell you to seek them out at a certain place, and they would be like Red or Steven in Gen 3 and 4, but it feels strange that an adult would ask that of a teenager.

The battle factory in the original gold silver and crystal allowed you to fight Yugi, Seto Kiaba, Joey, Mi Valentine, a few Digimon characters, and even fight against Godzilla summoning himself. All these functions that people believe are brand new are from the second games made. You are not playing new game functions you are in fact playing old stuff. This stuff is old. Nintendo has been removing functions from the game ever sense the original gold, silver, and crystal and all of you who never realize Nintendo has been scamming you because you are dumb and that is a fact. The games are not even bigger they are shrinking. There is less places to travel in the newest games than in the original games. You have been scammed and are too stupid to realize it.

The PWT is what made Gen 5 my absolute favorite gen for over 10 years, Scarlet and Violet's Indigo Disk DLC is what actually beat it out, Terapagos dethroned Kyurem as my favorite legendary, Gholdengo and Grafaiai dethroned my boy Scrafty as my overall favorite mon (though getting him in Blueberry Academy was awesome), that said Gen 5 is a very, very close second still

Sinnoh Battle Tower is very interesting, I met an ace trainer with 3 legendaries, Entei, Moltres, and Heatran, but unlucky for her, my Flygon has both Rock Slide, and Earthquake.

This guy from the 'International Police' from Platinum was so irrelevant.
If I had one complaint, it'd be the Type Expert mode……. since they decided to only featured Gym Leaders and Champions, but not E4 members, you can imagine how lacking that left the Dark-type tournament. Seriously, they had to fill it out with total randos that have generic class sprites.

Gen 5 remakes should have all the leaders/trial captains/kahunas be in the PWT. Even if they only program a handful of later gen Pokémon to work. And Roxie needs a Toxtricity on her team.
