    Im sorry but the only one winning here is lucious or possibly red. Big rant ahead.

    Whether people want to admit it or not, Ashs journey team is only stated to be the strongest because its OVERALL one of the best. But considering the fact his other teams had fodder on them I.e. torkoal, Ash making a team purely built of his strongest pokemon would body everyone else here. Ash greninja was boxing with dianthas mega gardevoir and also beat lucario.Ashs charizard is literally HIM and they needed to bring him back in Unova just to not make ash 100% trash. Sceptile speed blitzed a speed form deoxys and then obviously the darkrai. Pikachu is literally so insanely cracked in himself. Infernape with blaze is still insanely strong, he literally has a solgaleo and there's multiple other options. Ash had both plot armor and plot negligance at the same time. If he wanted to make a peak team like he SHOULDVE ( if journey writers werent so silly) to fight the strongest set of trainers he could have very well beat all of them much harder. Him bringing back any pokemon is dumb. Cynthias garchomo having no ground type moves was dumb but she chose not to mega due to it not being the best option. Leon in himself is plot BS, but that match would be close without any gimmicks. Also tobias eas the biggest plot cock block ever to stop ashing from winning sinnoh and rhe reason hr isnt in journeys is because they wouldnt be able to explain why he isnt top 1. Cynthia is one of my favourite trainers (moreso than ash honestly) but she was NOT boxing a dude with 6 legends considering how they are in the anime. Also the idea of "they beat ash before" doesn't matter considering him losing to random trainers throughout the series doesn't make them masters 8 level lol.
