It requires a lot of luck but i can be done and I have video proof. The Video Proof.
The start is as follows. A level 30 Bellossom with max EVs in HP and Special Defense. A moveset of Quiver Dance, Sleep Powder, Moonblast, and Strength Sap. Special defense up attack down nature. Hold leftovers.
Due to me wanting to beat Leon at the lowest possible level, Bellossom was the best option I could find with the right set of skills to endure Leon's Aegislash, set up, and hit for OK damage on his entire team. This is why we use Moonblast over Energy Ball. CHarizard woudl quad resist. You have to bait King's Shield turn 1. If you don't you lose. You just die. Then land sleep powder. If he sleeps under 3 turns, you lose. You Quiver Dance 3 times to outspeed and on turn 4 when he will always wake up you Strength Sap. Normally he heals Aegislash but he just… didn't on the attempt I won on. Normally you have to sleep it in sword form and attack it only in Sword Form or you run out of Moonblasts, but on this attempt he just didn't?
If you have good HP when Dragapult comes out you're OK but it outspeeds and can hit for about 30 per flamethrower so have about 70 HP when you kill the sword. Haxarous is a range if you are not Dynamaxed and if you miss it you die. But if he doesn't heal Aegislash you can use your Dynamax here to avoid that rather than to kill Charizard due to limited moonblasts.
Heal on Mr. Rime and sleep Inteleon to avoid crits. Sleep Charizard and this is the second big luck factor if you survive until G-max wildfire damage over time ends you should win. If you're low on Moonblasts wait for Gigantamax to end and kill with 3 Max Starfall otherwise use sleep heal as needed and you're good.
Edit: This whole thing is part of a wider challenge hosted by Youtuber Paladin who is trying to beat every boss in the series at the lowest possible level. For example his video on Pokémon Platinum Can be found here. I strongly recommend checking it out. The name of this challenge is Project Lowball.

That was wild, even more so because it went from level 30 all the way to level 46 throughout the fight (I wonder how much that factored into your victory). This post deserves an award.
That’s great. Thank you for sharing this
Actually, King’s Shield does not protect against Sleep Powder, so you can use it there and then against Aegislash.
That said, I’d rather just brute force solo Leon’s team with the ridiculously OP Ho-Oh. Aegislash and Mr Rime get taken out by Sacred Fire, STAB Brave Bird + Roost means you get to wreck Inteleon, Haxorus and Dragapult, and Charizard’s goose is cooked by Max Airstream if you can take out Inteleon with Brave Bird without needing to Dynamax.
I think I almost solo Leon with a ribombee
Respect. Good job
Couldn’t a challenge like this be more optimal with a F.E.A.R strategy of some kind or is that not possible?
I think their are some level 1 sturdy shell bells shegenagens, IDK if they are any relevant pokemon in Scarlet Violet have it, but I know Aron was a c ommon for it.
I saw every attempt you posted in my Discord and knew you’d find a solution eventually. Really glad you stuck to it and have enjoyed the lowball challenge so much 🙂
Bellossom being my favorite Pokémon, I appreciate this
More like Bellawesome
I will not be surprised if JRose11 sees this and get inspired to do this run as well. For the love of the game.
Btw, the reason Leon doesn’t full restore is because the Pokemon AI is always programmed to kill you first if you’re in range to (not sure if it’s tied to last pokemon but for sure it’s last pokemon)
What a wild ride! That low battery indicator had my heart racing 🤣
gaht damn this is some serious mad lad mischief
I think this just proves how good strength sap is
WOOHOO!!! GRASS TYPE SUPREMACY!!!
I want to formally congratulate you on your well earned freedom.
Just more proof that Leon is a fraud
I’m kind of disappointed, I read it as Bellsprout, which is much more impressive
