Alongside lemons, the design was also inspired by USB-C plugs, Rotom (base form (for coloring)), and Watt from Paper Mario (the color inspo is much more noticeable in the shiny (second image))
Lastly, its signature ability, Overcharge, is Solar Power, but for Electric Terrain.
