I beat Yellow, Crystal, and Emerald with only a Tentacle and a Psyduck. Only Hold Items and TMs. No HM Slaves. Fire Red, Platinum, and Heart Gold next. Pretty sure this is the only combo of 2 Pokemon native to each game you can do this with.
