Here are the next additions to my regional dex. This is my attempt for the “fur-bait” clone, or whatever these pokemon are categorized as, those being Lucario and Zoroark. Lucario is based off Anubis, Zoroark is based off the Kitsune, and this line is based off the Norse monster Fenrir
Fenruff is just Fenrir and ruff smooshed together. Not a whole lot to say about this cute little pupper. Fenruff’s do however have exceptional strength for how little they are and like to do things such as showing off by breaking extremely tough metals with ease, or just wanting to play tug of war with someone
Upon evolution, Fenruff switches their normal type out for steel as they evolve into Ulfrenzir. The name is a combination of Ulfr (Norse word for wolf), frenzy, and you can still kinda see “Fenrir” in the name. Trainers were so scared of the strength that Fenruff possessed that they kept them chained up for safety. Doing so however only just fueled Ulfrenzir’s rage and gave them even more of a reason to evolve. Comparing Ulfrenzir to Lucario and Zoroark, he’s definitely not as agile as the two, but what he lacks in speed he very well makes up for with pure rage and strength. While they are very unnecessary with how strong Ulfrenzir is, Ulfrenzir will occasionally use their golden chains as a tool in combat
So yup, those are my attempt at a Lucario and Zoroark-like clone. Sohope people enjoy this line
