Fakemon

Regional bug line rough sketches (Plus second gym leader)

Nurm is a little normal bug type worm nerd.

At level 20, It evolves into a power ranger called Zorm.

You see, the main evolution method for Zorm is that it has to faint to a cut-based attack at least 4 times. Each time it faints, Zorm will split off into one of its other forms. (the change will be purely aesthetic.)

So when you end up with five worms in the same party and they reach level 40

You get Gigazorm! Disclaimer, only the lead Zorm needs to reach level 40, the others can just be there for the ride

She’s DONE! Meet Gym leader Kuhela, the former fighting type gym leader! She now uses various strategies to make the most out of her battles, she is particularly fond of using status afflicting moves and Pokémon.

The gym in this case is very literal, and she act as the master coach for everyone who attends her gym. Despite her fierce appearance, she’s surprisingly down-to-earth, spending as much time, resting and relaxing whenever she isn’t working both herself and her Pokémon to the fullest.

Fun fact: both her and her ace Pokémon, Croagunk, are massive foodies. When not engaged in gym activities, you’ll just find her around every other town mid interview and she’ll just either ask you for a battle or tell you whether or not the food here is great.
