This is one of the regional Variants of Mimisect I have made, obviously it looks vastly different from Mimisect but the idea is that they evolved to look like different pokemon due to the difference in environmental pressures.
This Mimisect (But Type) evolved the friendly form of Wartortle because it wants to make friends, and the previous Mimisects look became notorious so it was hard to do and so over time it took this new form.
It evolves into Imabeetle (Bug / Ground Type) when you reach a high friendship score with it, allowing it to feel it can trust you to see what it truly is.
I do have one more Variant of Mimisect almost done, but other than that I don't know if I'll make more.
