    Personally, I’d keep it sealed. The enjoyment of wondering, versus regret would be more satisfying for me. Everyone is different though. (This is my personal take). You can easily complete a Base Set 2, and still have a sealed pack. That would be a cooler collection, than *only* a complete Base Set 2. Maybe shop around for a sick protector for the sealed pack.

    PSA 8 Blastoise sold for 175 on Ebay today, according to recent sales

    An ungraded Base Set 2 Gyarados pack sold for 236 on October 3rd. (A graded PSA 9 pack sold for 290 yesterday)

    Objectively by opening it you lost money if you were debating selling it before opening it.

    If you know deep down inside your heart heart of hearts that you arent going to go through the time and effort to grade the cards to sell, and arent really considering selling it, then either save it for a rainy day to open or just send it and open.

    If theres a chance you WANT to sell it, then dont open it as you will most likely lose the value

    My vote: Open that shit, theres a Zard or Mewtwo in it
