These 2 are based on my favorite plant, deadly nightshade. The name of the 1st stage is Fawntropine, based on fawn (baby deer), Tropical (for plant inclusion) and Atropine (one of the active toxins in the plant). The second stage is Souffrilope, based on Souffrir (French for suffering) which is used in the original form of the phrase “Beauty is pain,” due to the plant’s use in eye drops that give the person “doe eyes,” which involves the dilation of the pupils. The term doe eyes is in reference to the innocence of a deer. I made these Pokemon Antelopes, as I didn’t actually want to draw deer because I wanted the horns to look like the plant.
