Big eyes and sharp quills make this Pokemon a strange sight in the open. They mainly stay below the surface with its quills exposed coated in purple toxins.
At night they come out to hunt Bug Pokemon and sometimes knock over trash cans and eat leftover foods. They prefer sour foods because it helps them create more toxins.
When fighting they spin fast at the enemy and run them over with the toxic quills. It can be mildly irritating or melt through 1 inch of steel. After they beat down the opponent they strike at the eyes, throat or stomach with their wicked tails.

This looks more realistic than Pokemon’s artstyle for a convergent form of Sandshrew. Pinpont should be renamed to Pinshrew to keep the convergent theme.
