Though it might not look the part at first, Ponfiyah can become an explosive little ball of energy when it comes to what it loves. When this happens, smoke emanates from the white parts of its fur that can entrance those unlucky (or perhaps lucky?) enough to inhale it. Ponfiyah is based on a tanuki and a bonfire, though it will gain another basis as it evolves.
I imagine Ponfiyah to be the Fire Starter of a region whose Starters are all themed around celebration: Ponfiyah would obviously be a bonfire, and the Water starter would be based on toasting, but I don’t know what the Grass starter would be. What type do you think Ponfiyah will become when it evolves? (Hint: the Dex entry might help.)
