  1. I'm going to start by saying great video here's my thing with these type of raids lot of people don't have the resources to Max all the moves out save for instance a new player came into the game that doesn't have a lot of Bulbasaur candy to fully max out a dynamax Venusaur so they won't be able to max it out as fast with Niantic should have done like when dynamax Gengar came out they should have put a lot of spawns of gastly in the wild Even if it was for just one day that could have helped out new players get a lot of resources because you have to use candy in order to max the move like for me I Don't have enough Bulbasaur candy to max my 100% IV that I got to make it optimal to use so it's kind of bad I have to wait until they drop a event where Bulbasaur will pop up in the wild because I'm a fairly new player I do like the system but that's just my opinion what they should have done

  2. Thank you for your video. I do believe that Niantic should at least have another classic community day for the Kanto starters. That way we can be a little bit more prepared and power up those main three..

  3. The group i was with had 12 people. The first two times we tried it we all died almost killing it both times. The third ime we had a 13th person and we FINALLY beat it

  4. 12:58 couldn’t get my community together for the release weekend but I think we are actually going to attempt the gengar.

A group of 4 has completed a gmax gengar so we can’t ignore the stardust. Plus after beldum day everyone can 40 max their metagross as well as power up their move and shield which are the most important for this particular boss according to the group of 4.

  5. 600420769373 is my trainer code. I am from India and I hunt shiny pokemons. I will send gifts every day as I explore more. Pls send me request in Pokémon go.

  6. I live in a rural area and have 10 players MAX in my area , i dont drive so im unable to go to a bigger city to play which is what they all do during big events and features like this, ive never met a single player during events like gofest or gotour so im basically on my own , not to mention i work weekends and in order for me to play events like gofest i need to put in for vacation time 2 months in advance , i was super hyped for gmax and dmax to be introduced till i found out you couldnt use preexisting pokemon in your storage. Thanks for all the info but i think ill be skipping this feature

  7. Of course with 25+ trainers its not even a question with Gengar… assuming all evos done.

  8. did it with 9 trainers last night in norway ..

took two hours, i used two gengars with max spirit and max phantasm with one dx blastoise with bite/max darkness to ramp up the dynamax meter quickly. swapped to gengars for every dynamax cycle and almost exclusively spammed heals – attacking when health meters were full. got lucky we were taking on a gengar that was spamming poison moves (ghost/dark moves were a quick wipe for us)

  9. Yay ! Got a genga . It was easier to beat & catch. I did one raid in the city (Sydney). I am not spending money on max particles to to gigantamax raids hehehe . I spent once . All my metagross have all the max moves max. Theh can’t be use anywhere else. I think it is a cash grab from Niantic. Will see how it goes hehehe ❤❤❤

  10. 1639, was that a 98%
It is very dependent on the moves that the gengar was.

Leaving a Pokemon is almost useless because how many places have more then one group taking each Power Spot? And you don't get anything unless people people take down the Pokemon at the Power Spot.

  11. The Gigantamax feature is extremely predatory to all players across the board. No matter how you play it you're gonna be spending coin and real money because it requires it in order to raid multiple times. If you're in a group its even worse cause 9 times out of 10 you're not gonna be going around powers spots to replenish particles. The catch rates can be damn right awful so you probably wont think twice to spend 200 coin to have a guaranteed catch. The fear of missing out will have rural players spending cash like crazy just to make up for what they missed. New players wont have the resources to keep up with candy and stardust requirements. You cant use your old powered up pokemon to give yourself a better chance of defeating the boss which is downright insulting. Niantic is a truly diabolical company because they knew what they were doing by rolling this out the way they did. You cant turn the feature off in game so you're always gonna see it even if you're not able play it. It sucks because the system to a certain degree has some fun aspects to it. Dynamax needs a major overhaul

  12. Hi 👋 I caught shiny ✨ saree pikachu recently so excited looks cool 😎, good luck sending some mine your way hope you can get one these also your channel Awsome thanks all your content.

  13. 8:01 proof that more people != more fun.

It just takes one weak link to catch quick and instantly start the next lobby then suddenly everyone in the mob of 20+ people is trying to join in before they get left behind. Nothing about how this new battle system is designed promotes precise coordination, mostly due to the impossibility of coordinating with every single person in 20+ groups, yet such synchronization is required.

  14. The biggest criticism I have of this feature is the way it was rolled out. You and Nick and probably tons of others have talked about that in detail, so I won't go into that here, but I do want to say that it needed a much, much, much more detailed special research line to prepare us for the harder battles.

Early tasks would include: collect MP, catch your first d-mon (research task reward), defeat a T1 d-raid. Later tasks: power up specific d-moves, battle in a group, use max spirit and or max guard in battle. Final tasks: battle in a g-raid, win a g-raid, power up g-moves.All including detailed explanations from Willow on how this whole system works, and encouraging us to think about harder raids in the future. Rewards would include a few basic mon, MP and stardust, that sort of thing

I don't know if it's still feasible to run a special research like that. When we were all starting from more or less the same baseline expertise, sure. Now that some people are getting pretty well set up, while others of us still have no clue, maybe not so much? But if it's special research, the now-experts could ignore it if they want to.

  15. Strats are easy.

4 person teams with 3 Pokémon

Each team member will focus on 1 Skill for their "Skilled" pokemon

2 people lvl 2 or 3 max attack.

1 person lvl 3 max guard.

1 person lvl 3 max heal.

DMax metagross or DMax blastoids are best lvl >30.

-should be 40 as long as long as canon fodder and Back-up are lvl 30 or 35

    pokemon #1 (aka "Canon Fodder")

-just >30 level, no max skills leveled up. ~my lvl 40 dies fast sometimes depending on the attack boss is using~

    pokemon #2 (aka "Primary")

->30 level, Max "Skill" high as you can go.

-should be 40 as long as long as canon fodder and Back-up are lvl 30 or 35

    pokemon #3 (aka "Back-up")

->30 level, Max "Skill" high as you can go but its just a back-up so focus on Primary first

Raid leader calls out when for 4 person groups to go in.

"Team 1 go in…" (wait for them to all be in the lobby in one group)

"Team 2 go in…" (wait for them to all be in the lobby in one group)

"Team 3 go in…" (wait for them to all be in the lobby in one group)

    ect

*The boss becomes enraged after about 6 minutes or so.

*1 team of all lvl 40 metagross with all lvl 3 skills can take one to half health before it becomes enraged and wipes all members.

NOTE: 1 team of all lvl 40 metagross with all lvl 3 skills would be able to maintain combat and defeat the boss if that enrage didn't happen.

  16. Where I live it's very cliquey. Everyone has their groups and you can't join them. So I don't have anybody to play with, so I don't get to have even a chance to get these good ones defeated. Gengar is literally my favorite Pokémon of all time and I want this so bad but I don't have any way to get it.

  17. The most effective way I've found to defeat Gengar is by organizing the group strategically. Make sure the strongest trainers stick together, with their Pokémon having max gard and max attack. Group the weaker trainers separately. Since their Pokémon are likely to faint first, they can contribute by cheering and helping fill the Dynamax meter faster. This support allows the stronger trainers to stay in the battle longer, deal more damage, and take less damage overall

  18. We did 2 Gigantamax Gengars with group of 12 without even breaking a sweat. Some players were prepared a bit better than other (opened the max moves). 3rd try with 7 players were almost success, but battle took too long time and Boss finished it with big booms 😅 Final test was with 4 players where we managed to get it around half health. Didn’t expect to win easily but in the end it was learning experience.

  19. Not really. I failed most of the battles. Was only able to complete a few battles but when I try to catch the gengar, it usually runs away. 😿

  20. We managed 42 by pulling multiple communities together from Thursday to Sunday. 16 seemed like the magic number with all levels or trainers to be safe. Easier then Blastoise for sure. 😂 Good times all around. 💫

  21. Anyone else noticed that the powerspots have different spawns for different players. I was out with a group of 4 people and 3 of us had different spawns at the same powerspot. One even had a 3 star vs the rest had different 1 star pokemon. Is this a new feature to make it harder for us since Gigantmax is too easy?

  22. It's a great feature and it is new. The mega system wasn't great when it was first released and now it's a pretty big part of the game. The best things in life take time so we just have to be patient and give feedback where it's needed.

  23. Speaking of crocheting a blanket while doing raids, I’ve been eyeing your blanket behind you for multiple videos now and I’ve been wondering if you made it yourself and if it’s a pattern or if it’s just freehanded? I love the colour choice too 🥰
