entry: this mysterious mermaid-like pokemon has the incredible ability to seemingly adapt to any ocean environment, not only changing it's appearance but also it's typing. this form specifically is the most rarest to find as this as well as the rest of it's forms can grow crab-like legs on the sides of it's tail to move on land with ease
polar form (water/ice)
entry: not only does this form of mermadapt live in polar oceans but amazingly their blood in this form are the equivalent of antifreeze allowing them to swim in ocean water -150 degrees °C, even their bodies can drop to -50 degrees °C which actually makes them stronger making their breathes cold as arctic winds
volcanic form (water/fire)
entry: as a result of swimming near volcanic islands and oceans this form of mermadapt have developed special lungs that allows them to breath fire that cause burns worse than sunburns as well as sharp steel-like teeth allowing them to eat coal or wood to fully energize themselves. the fins on it's arms can ignite into flames when angered
tropical form (water/grass)
entry: interestingly, because of it's diet of seaweed and kelp it's dna has evolved to the equivalent of plant dna almost making it more plant than animal. if its a sunny day it can use it's the fins on it's head and tail to photosynthesize up to the point where doesn't need to eat food as it can simply absorb sun for energy, if its not getting enough energy it's hair and tail will turn dull
mutant form (water/poison)
entry: after generation of living in polluted oceans and sewage it has amazingly developed stronge immunity system but at cost evolved into a venomous mermaid-like sea monster capable of devouring waste and algae and turn into toxic fluid that it spit at any humans threatening it's home. it's fangs contain enough venom to leave a adult human extremely ill or bedridden for a week or two
Signature move-mermawave (water-special): the user sends a small wave at the opponent, lowering their SpAtk by 2 (in polar form this move can inflict frostbite, in volcanic form this move has a chance to burn, in tropical form this move makes the opponent drowsy, in mutant form this move can badly posion the opponent)
