Vamptasm are the ghostly remnants of an unknown species of Pokémon that continue to make their homes along the branches of trees within the tundra where they will then raise their colonies.
Though due to their excitable nature and inability to control their icy flames at a young age, dozens of their trees will be worn down over a single colonies lifetime, constantly forcing them to relocate.
It is during these tiring journeys that the oldest members of the colony are often left behind as their flames die down and become incapable of flight.
