Yeah these are fake. But displayed like this really nice to look at. Your bro did a good job.

Dont tell him they’re fake. Let him take the victory, unless hes trading actual real cards for these. Id hate for him to pull an umbreon vmax alt art and then trade it away for some fakes.

The machamp gx on picture 5, it freaks me out. Idk the digital art style of the card is just wild to me.

Not telling him is an awful idea. Be honest so he knows not to be tricked into getting more fakes. Stop the cycle don’t let it continue.

Tell your brother they are fake. But then show him why and how to avoid it. Give him some tips..
Might initially upset him. But that’s better than him getting ripped off again down the line

So many people disagreeing on telling him they’re fake or not. Should be starting an AITA vote if you tell him or not. I honestly don’t know the right answer myself but I tend more towards telling him… kindly.. I guess it depends on how he aquires these. Trading other (real?) ones, trading other stuff that’s potentially worth more? Paying for some? Yeah they may be nice to look at but in the long run he’d probably end up losing money or rip other people off without knowing…

He’s taking great care of these. Hook him up with some real ones, you know he’ll take good care of them

  8. Everyone jumping to tell the truth is right. But how old is he? Ask how he got them, for what etc. if kids in elementary they don’t care no need to burst his bubble.

When I was a kid this employee at a jewelry store gave me this big yellow cut gem and told me it was citrine. I was extremely happy and valued that gem for a long time and couldn’t believe I was just given something like that.

When I was older I eventually realized that it was too good to be true and was fake. I was upset that my mom had let me believe that it was real and felt stupid and a little betrayed. So I would tell him the cards are fake.

Before the whole binder gets thrown out, a few of these might actually be real. The Charizard in the last pic looks potentially ok for example

My nephew showed me his cards yesterday, almost all of them were fake but he’s too young to understand how to tell they are fake.

  12. Tell him they’re fakes, otherwise if he gets a real rare card he could get scammed out of it by trading it for a fake, like in the other post that was here recently.

  14. SwipinBawls4

I did not know that there were fake Pokémon cards… i am new to buying them because my two kids like them. Where do you buy real Pokémon cards? I have been buying my kids Pokémon cards at walmart. Now i’m not so sure those are even good.

My sister is getting me Pokemon cards for Xmas and I felt like a needy little bitch telling her the dos and donts of buying cards to prevent something like this
